Creating Spaces for Emergence

Relational Gatherings for Earth-Aligned Collaboration

Studio ‘Iwa salons are curated gatherings that bring together Indigenous wisdom keepers, funders, systems thinkers, and cultural leaders to forge relational trust and mobilize aligned capital.

These are catalytic spaces for deep listening, shared learning, and collaborative emergence across worldviews. Through dialogue, ceremony, and systems inquiry, participants explore how to reorient wealth, responsibility, and relationship in service to regenerative futures.

Each salon invites highlights a different kind of intelligence, one that centers reciprocity over extraction, kinship over transaction, and emergence over control. The result: new alliances, deeper understanding, and the conditions for meaningful, long-term collaboration.

Salon 1: Mazatec Mycelium

with Mazatec Curandera Alejandrina Pedro Castañeda from Huautla de Jimenez, Oaxaca

Location: New York City

Date: Fall 2025, exact date TBD

In our first Studio ‘Iwa Salon, we gather around the wisdom of mycelium, the sacred, decomposing, connective tissue of Earth’s intelligence. Led by Mazatec curandera and Mazatec cultural resource, Alejandrina Pedro Castañeda, this intimate convergence invites us to explore the consciousness of mushrooms not as tools, but as teachers. Through the lens of Mazatec cosmology, we’ll reflect on the power of decomposition, interconnection, and the logic of linking rather than scaling.

Participants are invited into a circle of deep listening, where ancestral knowledge meets emergent insight. The Salon includes an optional traditional healing ceremony, offered in reverence and with consent.
